Virginia “Ginny” Neisen, 93, of Mankato died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Waters Edge Senior Living in Mankato.  Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato with Rev. David Banfield officiating.  Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ginny was born April 5, 1924 to Hallie and Alvina (Schostag) DeRemer in Decoria Twp, Blue Earth County, MN.  She married Loren Neisen on Oct 10, 1964 in Mankato.  Ginny liked embroidering, quilting, flower gardening, Bible study, being the coffee lady at Bethel Baptist Church, but most of all loved taking care of her family.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons; Dale Johnson, St. Peter, MN, Randy (special friend, Deb) Johnson, Eden Prairie, MN; daughters; Faye (Jerry) Schwantes, Good Thunder, MN, Pam (Butch) Bellows, Lakefield, MN; grandchildren, Kelly (Ron), Michelle (Chuck), Sheila (Rafael), Tami (Keith), Jeni, Tara (Vince), Krista, Kara (Chris), LouAnn (Mark), Lainie (Rey), Jodi (Jason), Sara, Matthew (Maria), Trevor, and Nicole; 33 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Keith (Shar) Jones, Las Vegas, NV, Loren (Marlys) Jones, Alexandria, MN; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loren, son Allan, sister and brother-in-law, LaJune and Joe, grandchildren Lisa and Lonnie, daughter-in-law Donna
