Joyce Crandall Obituary

Joyce Ann Crandall, age 80, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 14, 2024, at her home in North Mankato, Mn.

Joyce was born on July 19th, 1943 to Anthony and Harriet Reuvers in Faribault, MN. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1961, and moved to Monticello in 1974 - where she met her sweetheart and future husband, Bruce Crandall. Joyce and Bruce were married on November 12, 1978 and enjoyed 42 years together, before he preceded her in death on February 4, 2020.

Joyce worked in various jobs at Suburban Gas, Prudential and the Monticello Agency, and took much pride in her garden, house projects, sewing, and mastering many video games on several systems. But what she looked forward to most of all, was spending time with her 4 children, and 9 grandchildren - who were the absolute pride and joy of her life. Her caring presence, quirky personality, and unforgettable laugh will be missed by all who knew her.

Joyce is survived by her 4 children, Michele [Mickey] Davidson of St. Peter, Duff (Natalie) Davidson of Eden Prairie, Jim (Debbie) Davidson of St. Peter, Dan (Beth) Crandall of North Mankato, her grandchildren, Anthony, Madeleine, Anna, Maria, Sarah, Livia, Hanna, Amelia and Charlie and her beloved dog, Itsy.

She is also survived by her siblings, Janet Miller (special friend Mike), Betty (Gene) Berge, Joan (George) Delaske, Roxie (Ron) Mitchell, Steven Reuvers, Jackie (Peter) Gretz and Therese “Tess” (Gary) Miller, by sister-in-law, Barb Reuvers, brother-in-law Steve Drevlow, sister-in-law Carole Larson, and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce, parents, husband’s parents, brother Jerry Reuvers, sister in-law Marge Reuvers, brother Dan Reuvers, sister, Jane Drevlow, brother, John “Doc” Reuvers, and brothers-in-law, Thomas Miller, nephew, Andrew Reuvers
