Kathleen “Cookie” Reasor; 79 years of age, passed away on April 24th in Mankato, MN surrounded by her children.
A Celebration of Cookie’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 2 P.M. - 5 P.M. at the Morson-Ario-Strand VFW Post #950 1900 North Riverfront Drive in Mankato, MN 56001. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements. www.woodlandhillsfh.com
Cookie was born on October 10th, 1944 in Mankato, MN to Walter and Mary Miller. She attended Mankato High School, and spent most of her working career as a supervisor at Perfecseal.
In 1988, Butch and Cookie bought their own slice of heaven out in the prairie, where many friends and families frequently gathered. Cookie loved painting ceramics, doing diamond dots, shopping, gardening, baking, and showing anyone and everyone photos of her beloved family. She also enjoyed the occasional slot machine.
She is survived by three of her children, Robert Sidwell, Andrew (Suzie) Sidwell, Mindy (Leif) Johnson; She has 6 grandchildren, Brittney (Joey), Brianna (Aaron), Kyle (Journey), Maddie (Tyler), Nora, Owen; three great-grandchildren, Ava, Evan, and Aurora; Two sisters, Judy Smith (Loren) and Toni Magnett; many nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents; first husband, Donald Sidwell; second husband, Don (Butch) Reasor; eldest sister, Dorothy Olinger; and daughter, Jenie Wilmes.
