Marjorie A. Pasbrig, age 95 of St. Peter, formerly of Mankato, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2 P.M. at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato with Pastor Marques Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of services at Woodland Hills Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
Marjorie Adell was born on April 7, 1924 to Floyd and Floy (Henry) Davis in Lake Crystal, Minnesota. She graduated from Mankato High School. On December 15, 1942 she was united in marriage to George Pasbrig in Mankato. After their marriage they lived on a farm near Good Thunder where she helped George with farming, and then in 1950 Marjorie and George moved their family to the Mankato area. For a short time she was employed by the Mankato Vocational School and from 1978 to 1985 for Carlson Craft in North Mankato. Marjorie was a long time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Mankato. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed being outside gardening. Marjorie loved time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Korrie (Carol) Pasbrig of St. Peter, Kevin (Mary) Pasbrig of Freeburg, IL, Dennis (Diana) Pasbrig of St. Peter; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn (Herb) Tegantvoort of Boulder, NV, Donna Morris of Burnsville; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George in 1990; 1 brother; 3 sisters.
