Richard “Dickie” Frank Robinson, 57, of Mankato died Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home.  A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato with Chaplain Jerry David officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Richard was born March 23, 1960 in Mankato, MN to Roger and Violet (Thurber) Robinson.  He grew up and attended school in Mankato.  He married Billi Jolene Robinson in Mankato.  He worked for Seagate Technology in the Twin Cities and also Wis-Pak, Inc. in North Mankato.  Richard liked going to rock concerts, Vikings Football, gardening, baking, playing horse shoes and cribbage.  He was a good listener and was always happy to see you.

He is survived by his family, Billi Jolene; sons, Dylan Robinson, Mankato, Rickie Burgess, Mulhall, OK; daughters, Danielle Robinson and Staci Dial both of Mankato; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Robert Robinson, Kasota, Terry (Diane) Robinson, Mankato, Randy (Robin) Robinson, Apple Valley, MN; sister, Jane (Clark) Diel, Mankato; goddaughter, Kimberlee Diel, Mankato; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Carol Jan and brother Francis.

My deepest sympathies go out to Dickie's family. I never saw him without a friendly smile, and he always greeted me with warm open arms. He will be greatly missed! He was an awesome person here on earth and will make a great addition to the family in heaven.
