Mare....what can i say - i was so fortunate to know you and your beautiful daughter kristine...i treasure the memories and great times spent at the farm and also the house in town with you both. when i first met you guys, you were like a movie star to me, so completely glamorous compared to the 'other' moms that i knew....i have very fond memories of the times i spent with you all....the world was a better place for having you in it, and heaven is a better place having you there now....i can see you now giving them a piece of your mind when needed....i'm typing this with tears and smiles at the same time....will miss the thought of you here on earth Mare!! Kristine and family, please know i'm thinking of you all and sending healing juju your direction!

Kristine and family, I am saddened to hear of your moms passing. I am sad I did not know my aunt. Your mom did give me an enormous gift that has stuck with me for almost 37 years now. When my father died your mom was out driving and went under a bridge that had graffiti saying "Keep on Keeping on". she relayed that to my mom. That was a gift that I truly believe and live by!
My heartfelt sympathy, love and prayers to you.

So sorry to hear about Mary. First we were good friends in 5th grade and then several years later I married her brother Bill. She was very smart in school and very sweet and caring. I'm glad we had some significant times during the years even though not enough times! God bless you Kris and family as I just know you were the light of her life and she deserved that happiness! Love, Diane Shaw Engen. I am going to see if I have any pictures to send to you.
