    Lorraine M. Farm, age 92, of Mankato, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Benedictine Health Center in St. Peter, Minnesota.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato with Fr. Paul van de Crommert, Celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
    Visitation will be Monday morning for one hour prior to services at the church. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is handling arrangements.
Lorraine Marcella was born on May 17, 1926 to Roy and Marguerite (Bassett) Rice in Reading, MN. Lorraine graduated in 1944 from McKinley High School in Le Center, MN.  She continued her education at Mankato Commercial College. Upon completion of her studies she went to work for Dayton’s in Minneapolis as a Comptometer Operator. On August 2, 1947 she was united in marriage to Myron J. Farm. Together they raised five children. She later worked in Housekeeping at Immanuel Saint Joseph’s Hospital, retiring after 20 years in 2001.  Lorraine was a member of Holy Rosary Parish and the Council of Catholic Women.  She enjoyed finding new recipes and preparing memorable holiday meals.
    She is survived by her children, Gail (Gary) Loken of Tarpon Springs, FL; David (Kathy) Farm of Burnsville, MN; Donna (Curt) Stanke of Mankato, MN; Pam (Scott) Mayer of Apple Valley, MN; Jim (Kelly) Farm of Farmington, MN; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Marguerite Rice; husband, Myron Farm; brother, Lyman Rice; and sisters, Genevieve Nami and June Gish; grandson, Jeffrey Stanke and granddaughter, Linda Farm.

I worked with Loraine many years ago at the hospital and have many wonderful memories of a great lady!
