Robert Rudolph Theodore Albrecht, age 80, of Nicollet, MN died December 25, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 30 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato with Rev. Mike Omtvedt officiating.  Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service.  Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

Bob was born July 22, 1939 on the farm near Nicollet to Arthur and Adela (Brummond) Albrecht.  He grew up and went to school in Nicollet.  On October 15, 1963 he was united in marriage to Sharon Miklas at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nicollet.  Bob was a jack of all trades.  He worked for the railroad and was a mechanic and welder.  He worked at several places including John Deere, Kayot, Cmart, Oasis Truck Stop and many others.  Bob enjoyed fishing, bowling, and racing cars in the 60’s and 70’s where he was both a mechanic and driver.  He was a former member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Don (Lisa) Richards of Mankato, Robert Albrecht Jr. of Nicollet, Terry (Jeana) Richards of Linn Grove, IA, Joel (Tina) Albrecht of Mankato; daughters, Tammi Wills of Mankato, Brenda Albrecht and her friend Don of Eagle Lake, Lori (Brian) Nemitz of Mankato, Jolene (Troy) Roeker of New Richland; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Ervin and Warren Albrecht of Mankato; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
