   Thomas “T.J.” Black, age 67 of Mankato, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his home.
   A Celebration of his life will be at a later date. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements.
   Thomas was born on October 28, 1952 to Raymond and Madeline (Youell) Black Sr. On February 27, 1970 he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge on February 26, 1973. T.J. enjoyed gardening, woodworking and fishing. You could find T.J. watching his favorite shows NASCAR and wrestling while enjoying a Bacardi and Coke.
   He is survived by his brother, Tim (special friend Denise Anderson) Black of Mankato; his sisters, Lynn Ragan of Mankato, Mary Lukken of Kelso, WA, Judy (special friend Jerry Phillips) Black of St. Clair, Sue (Ron) Suess of Judson, Barb (Greg) Wersal of Eagle Lake, Peggy (special friend Curt Torgerson) Black of Mankato, Debbie (John) Olson of Mankato, Tammy (Brian) DeWitte of Mankato, Kim (special friend Rob Schwarz) Black of Mankato; by many nieces, and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ray Jr., Francis “Willy”, brothers-in-law, Chuck Ragan, Clayt Lukken; niece, Angel Black; And the Love of His Life Patti Ann.

My very deepest condolences to TJ's family. He was/is a character beyond words. Always had a cheerful word to say to others and a smile upon his face. Rest in peace Rowdy.
