Beverly Mae (Myers) Born was born to William and Margaret Myers in a Waseca, Minnesota hospital on July 23, 1930. Bev went to her heavenly home Friday, June 12, 2020 at the age of 89. She was diagnosed with cancer in July 2019.  
Memorial service will be on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato, and will be held outdoors. Social distancing will be observed, please bring chairs. If moved indoors, masks are required. Private Interment will be in St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in St. Clair. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Hosanna Lutheran Church. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bev moved from St. Mary’s township to St. Clair at the age of 11 and attended St. Clair School.  She graduated from high school in 1947, then attended Mankato Business School for accounting. She then worked at Federated Mutual in Owatonna.  She was untied in married to Wayne Born in June of 1952.  Wayne was in the Airforce and stationed in Spokane, Washington and later in Salina, Kansas.  They moved to St. Clair in 1955 and took over Myer’s Oil Company until Wayne died in 1970.  Bev then worked at Marigold Dairy in Mankato and later at Vetter Stone in Kasota where she retired.  She enjoyed quilting, golfing, traveling, playing cards and was a member of Solo Parents both locally and nationally.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Duane) Goebel of Ellendale and Melanie (Al) Esser of North Mankato.  Four grandchildren, Angela (Jim) Ricketts, Melinda Davis, Aaron (Heather) Esser, Amy (Brandt) Brelje.  Nine great grandchildren and sister, Ivadell Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Wallace Myers, brother-in-law Jim Hunter and grandson Andrew Esser, special friend Joe Halpern.

The Born family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Your mom was such an amazing, beautiful person. And you can see it through her daughters. Cherish all the wonderful memories in your heart, for she will be there forever.

Bev will be missed. We enjoyed playing cards with her at the Wow Zone. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I got to know Bev from Solo Parents. I was National Solo Parents PRESIDENT for 2 years. Bev went on a lot of trips with me. I just talked to Bev a while ago. We sure had a lot of fun.

Bev was cheerful and helpful at quilting at Hosanna every week. She set a positive attitude even when not feeling well. She will be missed. L

The Born family, We have been very careful about going to any event because of Covid and I can’t tell you how badly we feel about not being with you now.
We loved Bev and will always remember her fondly.
