   Jeremy J. Harris, age 42 of Mankato, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-St. Mary’s Campus Rochester.
   A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements.
   Jeremy Joseph was born on November 22, 1977 to Catherine A. Harris in Fairmont, Minnesota. He graduated from the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind. After graduation he moved to HSI in Mankato and was employed by MRCI in the Workforce Program doing community service. Jeremy enjoyed traveling with his friends from MRCI, participating in Special Olympics, where he excelled in the 50 yard dash. He was very involved with certification of firearms safety. Jeremy loved life, had a wonderful sense of humor, and thoroughly enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.
   He is survived by his mother, Catherine Harris of Willmar; brother, Harry Triplett of Mankato; grandmother, June Gifford of Willmar; special friend, Lynn Braun of Mankato; other relatives and friends.
   He is preceded in death by his grandfather, LuVerne Harris; great-grandmother, Goldie Strootman.

I'm so sorry too hear of jj passing he was a great friend I loved when he was singing and dancing and he was great in the action theater club he will be missed by so many people he was a great guy and a great friend

i am so sorry for your loss of your loved one, Jeremey harriss his nick name in Aktion club theater was JJ. he was close friend of mine. if there anything that i can do please let me know. he will be missed. i loved him a lot. he had great smile it made me happy. i enjoy be around him.
