   Michael F. “Mike” Ganske, age 55 of Mankato, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.
   Private graveside family services will be held. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the American Heart Association in memory of Mike. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements.
   Michael Francis was born on December 25, 1964 to Roy James and Marlene Karen (Leuze) Ganske in Mankato, Minnesota. He graduated in 1983 from Mankato East High School. After High School Mike went on to attend Northwest Fluid Power Institute with studies in energy transfer and controls, graduating in 1986. In 1987 he graduated with an Associate’s degree from Northwest Technical Institute majoring in engineering, drafting, and design technology. Over the years Mike was a machinist for various companies in the Mankato and North Mankato area. He enjoyed playing video games, watching racing, football, and baseball.
   He is survived by his mother, Marlene of Mankato; father, Roy (Maxine) Ganske of Mankato; sisters, Gayla (Gayle) Kallevig of Willmar, Connie (Phil) Kos of Blaine; nieces, Rachel (Eric) Bangen of Maple Grove, Heather Kos of Blaine; nephew, Derek Thom of Blaine; uncle, Gene (Roberta) Ganske of Mankato; aunt, Ardis Ganske of Madelia; by many other relatives and friends.
   He was preceded in death by his grandparents; infant brother, Timothy; uncles, and aunts.
