Gary Wunderlich, Mankato, died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Autumn’s Grace in Mankato. Private services will be held at Woodland Hills Funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Columbarium. Online condolences may be left at woodlandhillsfh.com.
Gary was born November 19, 1942, son of Jerry and Bobbie Wunderlich. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1966-68. Gary worked as a lineman for C&N Railroad for many years until his retirement. In 2005 he suffered a stroke which disabled him.
He is survived by his son, Jerry and grandson, Brennan both of Delono; nephews, Matt (Tatiana) Storlien of Houston, TX and Mike (Mandy) Storlien and their children, Marlo and Myra Jane all of Lake Crystal; and longtime friend and helper Deb Joerg of North Mankato.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother in-law, Helena “Jane” and Bob Boswell.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Autumn’s Grace for their care the past 15 years and to Ecuman Hospice for their care the last day and weeks.
