Alverna Marlene Buzick

Alverna M. Buzick, age 84 of North Mankato, died Saturday, January 21, 2023 at her home. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mankato with Pastor John Odegard officiating.

Alverna Marlene was born on November 17, 1938 to Milton Fox and Lillian Balzer in Mankato, MN. She graduated from Mankato High School. On December 1, 1962 she was united in marriage to Floyd Adam Buzick in Le Sueur, MN. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, diamond painting, bumming around and going to garage sales, going out with her VINE friend Diane. She loved pulling weeds in the yard, and spending time with her 3 dogs she had over the last several years. She especially loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally.

Alverna is survived by sons, Tim Buzick, Sr., Neil (Shella) Buzick; daughters, Ann (Ross) Enge, Susan Buzick; grandchildren, Danielle (Nick) Greig, Timothy (Whitney) Buzick, Jr., Adam (Tessa) Probach, Amanda (Dan) Karstens, Elias Buzick, Jazmyne Buzick; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter on the way; brothers, Clem (Carol) Gilbertson, Robert (Linda) Gilbertson, John (Cheryl) Gilbertson; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, parents and grandparents.
