Barbara Ringgenberg

Barbara Jo Ringgenberg, 70, of Mankato, passed away January 17, 2026, at The Pillars in Mankato. A graveside service will be held at 11am Saturday May 30, 2026 at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in the spring.

Barbara was born October 4, 1955, in St. Paul to Jack and Dorothy (Nackerud) Ringgenberg. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 1974 and worked as an accountant at her parents’ grocery store, Jack & Jill. Her true passion was her horse business, Valley View Farms, where she boarded horses and provided riding lessons. Barbara also showed horses at events such as the State Fair and participated in local parades. In addition to her love for horses, she was deeply devoted to her dogs, which were a constant and important part of her life.

She is survived by her brothers, Jon, Bruce, and Todd, as well as her nieces and nephews: Tanya, Cara, Joseph, Mark, Brian, Kevin, Daniel, and Sarah.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Cindy.
