Betty Eckert

Betty Jane Eckert passed away peacefully on May 23rd, 2023 at Crystal Seasons in Lake Crystal, MN. She was 91 years old.

Visitation will be on Friday June 9, 2023 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home, Mankato, MN, from 5-7pm.  A private Memorial Service and interment will be held at a later date.

Betty was born October 17th, 1931 in Graceville, MN. She married the love of her life, Laverne John Eckert, on June 20th, 1951.  She loved fishing and embroidering, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends. 

Betty is survived by her sons Lee (Carol) Eckert of Lake Crystal, Craig (Sara) Eckert of St. Peter.  She is also survived by son-in-law Ron Robb, niece Lyn (Chris) Charboneau, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Edward (Ed) and Charlotte (Lottie) Issendorf, husband Laverne, daughter Carla Robb, brother Lowell, sister Dorothy, sister-in-law Mavis Issendorf, nephew Larry Issendorf, and granddaughter Michelle Eckert.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
