Betty A Ulman

Betty A Ulman, 93, died Thursday August 17, 2023 at Cottagewood Senior Community in Mankato.  Betty was able to donate her body to the Mayo Clinic Bequest Program. 

Betty was born January 24, 1930 to Reuben and Anna (Wilmes) Johnson in Mankato.  She graduated from high school and went to Mankato College for Painting.  On July 2, 1971 she was united in marriage to Donald Ulman in South Dakota.  She worked as a homemaker, at Brandt monograms, and for hospice.  In her free time she enjoyed sewing and painting. 

She is survived by her husband, Donald; son, Joel (Janet) Ewert of Kimball and Ann (Mark) Williams of Waldorf; step children, Richard (Belinda) Ulman of Killeen, TX, Denise (John) Phroel of Waseca, and Mona Frisk of Waseca.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Reuben Johnson Jr; and step daughter Barb Born.
