Carrie Dolsen Obituary

Carrie Ann Dolsen 44, of Good Thunder MN. Passed away on January 18th, 2026. Carrie was born October 31st, 1981 in Mankato MN to Carol Nielsen and James DeVlaeminck. Carrie was the youngest of three sisters. Carrie attended Maple River School District and obtained her high school diploma online and continued on to receive her CNA from Mapleton Community Home. Carrie resided in Good Thunder MN and worked at Mankato Civic Center where she met Bradly Lee Dolsen and would go on to marry him on July 8th, 2006, at St John’s Lutheran church. Carrie and Brad would go on to have three children where she would be a stay-at-home mom until 2017 when Carrie and Brad bought the Dakota mart. Carrie and Brad went on to own and operate from 2017 up until 2021. Carrie worked at C&S Supply in Accounts Receivable from 2024 to Present. Carrie was an active participant in the community by putting on activities such as lighting of the bell tower, trunk or treat, easter egg hunts and more. Carrie went on to become an entrepreneur with her love of crafting. Carrie loved creating memories and spending time with family (real and adopted) and going on unplanned adventures, chasing fireworks and the northern lights. Carrie was a jokester and would do anything to put a smile on your face. She would light up any room she walked into.

Carrie is survived by her mother Carol DeVlaeminck and Stepup Dad Lynn Sternitzke, Husband Bradly Dolsen, Children Damion Dolsen (Danelle Dolsen), Lyryk Dolsen and Eva-Lyn Dolsen and fur baby Wakan. sisters, Tanya Rasche (Teri Rasche), Tina Hahn, Nicole Ludewig, Jennifer Jones (Ben Jones) and Jane Borgen; brother, Daryl (Collette) Sternitzke; Many nieces, nephews and many other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 28th, 2026 at Woodland Hills Chapel 1605 Woodland Ave, Mankato MN 56001 at 11am with Chaplain Raymond Rush officiating. Visitation will be 9:30am to the start of the service. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Celebration of Life to follow the Service at Morson-Ario 1900 N Riverfront Dr, Mankato MN. Arrangements by Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato. www.woodlandhillsfh.com
