Caylee “Rene” Jo Sharp. 61, died September 20, 2024, in Mankato. Rene was born January 21, 1963, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Alan and Betty (Moen) McGee. She is survived by her father, Alan McGee; sons, Matt (Christy) Collins and Joe (Luke) Collins; grandchildren, Madison Collins, Shelly Stenen, and Morgan Collins; brother, Bill (Barb) McGee; sisters, Cheryl Parris and Sandra Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rene is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Mcgee.
In her free time, she enjoyed family, the outdoors, being on the road, creating art, attending craft shows, and spending time out on the lake. Rene enjoyed people, anywhere she went she brightened up everyone’s day. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere she went strangers quickly became friends. Rene was full of laughter and light, she will be greatly missed and in everyone’s heart forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held November 2nd 2024, at the Country Inn & Suites 2221 Killebrew Drive Bloomington, MN 55425 (across from the mall of America) from 1:00pm-5pm.
