Charles Lee "Chickenbaby" Ferguson

Charles L. Ferguson, age 71 of Mankato, passed away on Monday June 10, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Heath System-Mankato.

A Celebration of Charles’s life will be Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2 P.M. at the Pond View Heights Community Room, 1021 Hope Street, Mankato, MN 56001.

The Ferguson Family will greet friends for one hour prior to services at the Pond View Heights Community Room. Following services the family invites everyone to stay for a time of lunch and fellowship. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting with arrangements. www.woodlandhillsfh.com

Charles L. “Chickbaby” Ferguson was born on March 25, 1953, to Pollie Stidum and Frank Ferguson in Marianna Arkansas.

He is survived by his beautiful wife whom he loved more than life for 22 years; his children Tina M. Branik and Mekel Branick; grandchildren, Cayden and Carter; Brothers, Ravi, Paul and Wayne; Sisters Esther, Joy, and Delores; Nana Frances Reynolds, and a host of great friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, and  in-laws; Canary, Derrick, Kimmie, Joseph, Lenieca, and Vanessa. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Pollie Stidum and Frank Ferguson and his brother Walter Ferguson.

Daddy you were my hero. 

You have gained your wings in heaven and now you can rest in peace. I will stay strong for you. It's going to be hard knowing that you're not here daddy. You will never be forgotten. You will always be in my heart. I will make sure stepmom is doing okay because you wouldn't want it any other way.  My brother and I will stay in contact with each other for you daddy. RIP Dad
