Curtis, known to many as Curt, had a warm sense of humor that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He was raised in Washington, later lived in Colorado, and eventually made his home in Minnesota. He grew into a hardworking man known for his craftsmanship.

He spent much of his life as a master tile setter, taking pride in his trade and in the beautiful work he created with his hands.

Curt had a gift for storytelling. He could turn even the simplest moment into a story worth hearing, and he was known for his jokes, quick wit, and the way he could make anyone laugh.

He treasured time spent hunting and fishing. He also had a deep love for muscle cars, especially restoring and admiring the classics that reminded him of simpler times.

Curtis is survived by his children, Nicole (Jess) Blasing, Casey Vogel, and Katie (Nick) Capouch; and his grandchildren, Reid Blasing, William Capouch, and Gabriel Capouch.

He was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Darlene Vogel; grandparents, Emil and Mildred Vogel and Louise and Emil Jennerjohn.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the first responders, community members and friends for their compassion and support during this difficult time.
