Cynthia Kay White, 76, Mankato, died Tuesday June 9, 2026 at her home.
Cindy was born January 4, 1950, in Jackson, Michigan, to Ray and Marolyn (Abernathy) Kleinert. In May 1977, she married Charles White in St. Peter; they later divorced in 1991. Cindy dedicated many years of service to the State Hospital in St. Peter from 1968 until 2005, serving as a Psych Tech, Human Service Tech, and Security Counselor. Outside of work, she enjoyed selling antiques, completing puzzles, reading, crocheting, gardening, and cooking.
She is survived by her sons, Ryan White of St. Peter and Kyle (Corrin) White of Kasota; her grandchildren, Tanner, Autumn, Blake, and Kylie White; her brothers, Thomas J. (Robin) Kleinert and Jeff L. Kleinert; her sister, Linda Theissen; and nieces and nephews, Tammy Green, Jill Verico, Annie Oldenburg, Paul Pehrson, Jason Pehren, and Jeff Kleinert
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
