Daisy Irene Quinnell

Daisy Irene Quinnell, age 101, died Friday, December 12, 2025 at Oakwood Senior Living in Janesville, MN. Private family services will be held.

Daisy was born December 8, 1924 in Farmington, MN to Charles and Clara (Lang) Hansen. She grew up and attended school in Farmington.  She married Dale Quinnell in 1943. Dale passed away in September of 1999 and in October of 2000 she married Raymond Jubland. Daisy loved to travel and was a very sociable person, making many lifelong friends in their travels to Europe, Germany, Isreal, Turkey, Egypt and Russia.

Daisy was known as the “Hat Lady” and she had an eye for fashion, often being told that she looked like a million bucks. She liked reading, dancing, singing and had a good sense of humor.  She loved going to thrift stores and laughed about the time she was accidentally locked in a thrift store. She was very active in Bible Study and volunteered through the church with Cambodian refugees.

She is survived by daughters, Dawn Quinnell of Mankato and Sandra Quinnell Offerdahl of St. James; grandchildren, Danny Quinnell, Zachary “Zak” Kuehl, Kristine Kuehl, Darla Fretheim, Quentin Quinnell, Chuck Quinnell, and Dana Quinnell; great grandchildren, Erin, Emma, Alexis, Jacob, Ross, Noah, Joshua, Robbie, and Blake; great-great grandson, Gayson; sister, Rose Babcock of Bayport, MN; daughter-in-law, Kathy; many cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands; sons Danny and Baby Benjamin; great granddaughter, Maddie; brothers David and Charles; sisters Myrtle and Violet; 2 very good friends, Edith and Elsie.
