Dale “Breezy” Reich, age 88 of St. Clair, MN. died Monday, August 11, 2025 from complications of congestive heart failure and Parkinson’s Disease
A Memorial service will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato, with military honors immediately following services. Visitation will be on Friday morning for one hour prior to services at the church.

Breezy was born March 14, 1937 to Clarence and Ellen Reich. He was among the first class to graduate from West High School in 1955. After graduating he moved to Wyoming and drove a water truck for road construction and from 1957-58 he was a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Breezy married Wanda Ristau in November of 1959 and they were blessed with three children, Bryan, Brad and Brandi. He was drafted into the army July 7, 1960 and spent his deployment in Germany during the Berlin Crisis. After the service, he returned to Wyoming and worked for Haliburton in the oil fields until 1966 when he returned to Mankato and drove truck with his father until 1977. At that time he and his brother, Jerry, took over Reich Trucking which his father had started in 1935.
Wanda passed away in 1991. In 1994, Breezy married Lynn Nicolai and increased their family with her 2 children, Troy and Josie.
Breezy liked hunting, fishing, and spending time at the cabin on Big Sandy Lake and he loved to dance. He was a member of the St. Clair Fire Department for 29 ½ years and also belonged to the St. Clair American Legion. Breezy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who had a great sense of humor. Spending time watching all of the grandkids sporting events was his passion. Breezy was always positive and saw the best in everyone.
Breezy is survived by his wife, Lynn of St. Clair, MN; sons, Bryan (Chris) Reich of Red Wing, MN, Brad (Colleen) Reich of Waconia, MN, Troy (Kim) Nicolai of Mankato, MN, daughter, Josie Nicolai of Zumbrota, MN; grandchildren, Bryanna, Emily, Joshua, Caleb, Kaden, Jakobe, Addison, Jack, Sydney, William; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Judy) Reich of Mankato MN and Mick Reich of Mankato, MN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; daughter, Brandi Tosch; granddaughter, Kiley Reich-Winberg; sister, Jackie Hooper Schwermann; brother Robert Reich.
