Daniel Frassel was surrounded by family through a hard fought battle with cancer and walked into Glory when he left this earth, Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Dan was born June 10, 1965 in Mankato to Thomas and Mary Ann (Hirsch) Frassel. He graduated from Wellcome Memorial High School in Garden City, MN.
Dan grew up in the country. He loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors. Dan was naturally talented and mechanically inclined. He worked in construction for many years on his own and at various companies. Most recently, he worked in Garden City, “you know those tanks by Vernon Center”. Dan had a great smile and a laid back, friendly personality, with a washtub sized heart. He was the guy that tried to help everybody he could. He was found to be a great listener.
Dan married Carolyn DeSantiago in 1991. Dan and Carolyn had one son, Thomas Frassel.
Dan’s memory will be cherished by his wife, Carolyn (Carrie), and son, Thomas. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Mary Ann Frassel, sisters: Patti (Dave) Cornelius, Jeanne (Lee, who was like a second brother) Williams: their children: Leah (Jake) Paulson, Kevin (Lynette) Williams and Jena Williams. Brother: Mike (Carrie ) Frassel: their children: Megan and Jacob Frassel.
He will also be missed by his wife’s family: brother – in – law: Tony (Amy) DeSantiago: their children: Emily (Torrey) Rand Valerie (Brian) Bentdahl, Dallas (John) Starke. Sisters-in-law: Carmen Kramer, son Jason (Paige) Kramer and Gloria DeSantiago (R.D. Currier) and daughters Nikki (Alex) Hutchens, Jenny (Philip) Brass.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Frassel, mother-in-law, Jessie DeSantiago (who adored him) and nephew, Dustin DeSantiago. He leaves behind many other family, relatives, friends, co-workers and his Thunder Bar peeps who will miss him deeply.
Until we meet again Dan Dear, you were dearly loved, our lives will not be the same without you.
