Daniel A. Vetter, age 20, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2023, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. He left peacefully surrounded by family and his beloved girlfriend. Daniel graduated from Cleveland High School, MN, in 2021 and received his Certificate in Welding with highest honors from South Central College in North Mankato, MN, in December 2022.
Daniel was a lover of nature and full of adventure. He would climb to the highest points or take challenging hikes in Zion, Arches, Mt. Rainier, Glacier, and Yosemite National Parks, and so many more. He liked to push himself to the next level no matter what he was doing. Passionate about weightlifting and fitness, Daniel was always willing to share his knowledge when asked. He was smart, quick-witted, and loved making people, or a whole classroom, laugh. He also had a sensitive and kind heart, sticking up for a person being picked-on, or reaching out to someone who was hurting. Daniel had relentless determination and a heart of gold. We miss you so much.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Robert and Christine Vetter, and brother, Joshua Vetter, of Lake Washington; grandparents, Clarence Green of TX, Rose Barrett of AZ; aunts and uncles, Rosanne Burck (Ken) of AZ, Marcy Archer (Larry) of TX, Becky Scott of OR, Elizabeth Phillips of WA, Teresa Vetter of North Mankato, Donn Vetter (Lois) of Mankato, Mary Benedict of Lilydale, Ron Vetter (John) of Lake Washington. He also leaves behind his girlfriend Kaylee Towne; and numerous cousins, great cousins, relatives, and friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Joyce (Voda) Vetter; aunt and godmother, Ann Vetter; uncle, Jack Benedict; aunt, Cindy Vetter; cousin, Jack Robb; and uncle, Stanley A. Green.
