Danny Neal Rengstorf, passed away Jan 28th, 2025, from the complications of a stroke, in St. James where he was being cared for. Born Sept 20, 1961 to Marvin & Dorothy (Hoffmann) Rengstorf, in Mankato.
Danny had a zest for life that was evident in his favorite pastimes. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends. Sharing laughs over a few cold ones and gathering around a good campfire. He was an avid sports enthusiast. In his younger life he was a talented athlete. He loved baseball, hockey and was often found cheering for his favorite teams.
In his professional life, Danny was a skilled carpenter. He took pride in his craft. Along with the friendship he had with his boss. The two of them worked side by side often listening to ACDC.
He often lived by the motto: “for the love of sports” and regularly expressed his appreciation for life with the words “God bless you”.
Danny is survived by brother Joel (Cherie) Rengstorf; sister Tami (Gene) Braam; Neice Meghan Bach; Nephew Brandon (Catie) Braam: Grand nieces & nephews Aubrey, Allie, Charlie, & Zechariah. And his cherished friends Dixie Watson, Damian Watson, Dylan Mees, and Christina (Jesse) Vivian Leach.

He also shared a special bond with Alice Garcia during their time together in Las Vegas, NV.
Danny’s true legacy lies in the impact he had on those around him. With his kind heart, goofy sense of humor and unwavering respect for others, he touched more lives than he likely realized. His ability to offer good advice and share a laugh made him one of a kind. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Danny lived a good life, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
His celebration of life will be held at a later date.
