Darlene Marquardt

Darlene Karen Marquardt age 84, of Mankato, MN passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 1, 2023 at Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6 at 11am at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Darlene was born in St. Paul, MN January 9, 1939.  At the age of 5 her family moved to Marshall, MN where she grew up and graduated.

Darlene moved to St. Peter where she worked at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center until her retirement in 2000.  After her retirement she enjoyed working at Encore Consignment Shop and Card Fulfillment Center.

Darlene enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  She loved to go roller skating, line dancing, bowling and lunches out with her friends. 

Darlene is survived by her daughters Jody (Ron) Decker, Cindy (Glenn) Schmidt, Stacie (Shane) Avina.  Grandchildren Jacob (Mary) Hohenstein, Jenna (Josh) Landsteiner, Caitlin (Casey Mueller) Decker, Karissa (Jordan) Nickels, Brady (Sara) Schmidt, Cameron (Krissa Scholtz) Schmidt, Sean (Sarah) Schmidt, Ethan (Cassandra Miller)  Avina, Gavin (Nick Depuydt) Avina, Zoie Avina, 12 great grandchildren Remmie, Amzie and Colt Landsteiner, Oliver Decker, Kyzer and Sylvie Nickles, Jimena, Melanie and Richard Hohnstein, Kyson and Lilly Schmidt, Sophia Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roger, Denny, Gary, and Bruce.
