David Burg Obituary
David L. Burg, age 71 of Nicollet, MN died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Oak Terrace in North Mankato. Memorial services will be held11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Woodland Hills Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
David was born September 24, 1949 in Mankato to Cyril and Phyllis (Harein) Burg. He grew up and went to school in Lake Crystal. David worked as an over the road semi-truck driver, making many trips to the west coast and back.
David like fishing, hunting, snowmobile racing and just about anything outdoors. He was a very kind man and would help anyone that needed it. David especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Amanda) Burg of Nicollet; daughters, Melissa Mans (Lawrence) of Mankato, Ashley Schoeb (Jake) of Mankato, Bailey Burg of Minnesota Lake; grandchildren, Damion, Owen, Landon, Allyson, Dextin, Xaiden, and Melody; brothers, Keith (Larinda) Burg of North Mankato, Mark (Annette) Burg of St. Peter; sisters, Diane Bode (Doug) of New Ulm and Kathy Howk (Jeff) of New Ulm.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
