Diane M. Reasner

Diane M. Reasner, age 74 of Mankato, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1103 N Broad St. in Mankato, with Pastor Adam Matheny officiating.

Diane Marie was born on November 17, 1948 to Jacob and Marie Schumacher (Schnell) in Mankato, Minnesota.  She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Mankato.  Diane graduated from Mankato High School in 1966 and then attended four years at Mankato State College (MSU).  On July 19, 1969 she was united in marriage to Charles J. Reasner at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Mankato. Diane was a speech pathologist for five years.  She worked at CHS in Mankato for twenty years.  She retired in 2002. She enjoyed spending the cold months in Mesa, Arizona with her husband Charles.  She loved lunch with her girlfriends, trips to the casino, shopping, and happy hour with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband Charles of 54 years of Mankato, MN; daughter, Kristin (Tim) Courteau of Prior Lake, MN; son Jay (Cathy) Reasner of Mankato, MN; grandchildren, Jacob Courteau of Prior Lake, MN; Lily Courteau of Prior Lake, MN; and Destiny Reasner of Mankato, MN. many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Marie Schumacher; son Jimmy Reasner, sister Betty Hennessey; brothers Robert Schumacher and Jerome Schumacher.
