Donald Lewis

Donald Earl Lewis, 90, Lake Crystal, died Sunday January 25, 2026 at Cura of Le Sueur.  A Celebration of Donald’s Life will be held at 1pm Saturday March 21 at the Cambria Town Hall.  

Donald was born March 21, 1935 to Earl and Frieda (Hasse) Lewis in Cincinnati, OH.  He graduated from Lake Crystal High School and then went on to graduate from South Dakota State University.  Donald was united in marriage to Florence Jukulen on December 21, 1957 in Butternut.  He served in the Army Reserve.  Donald worked as a farmer and also delivered LP gas for several different companies.   In his free time, he enjoyed farming, casino trips, and his many pets.  Donald was a member of the Cambria American Legion.

He is survived by wife, Florence Lewis of Lake Crystal; sons, David (Cheryl) Lewis of Lake Crystal and Tad Lewis of Lake Crystal; daughters, Sheria (Scott Johson) Lewis of Lake Crystal and Peggy (Larry) Woitas of Lake Crystal;  grandchildren, Jennifer (Ben) Jones, Joel Woitas, Bethany (Bobby) Bernier, Chantel (Aaron) Thompson, and Tanner (Jessica) Lewis; great grandchildren, Evan, Kadin & Lincoln Jones, Jasper & Eli Woitas, Briggs & Baylor Thompson; and Scarlett Lewis: and many nieces and nephews.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents; sister; brothers and sister in laws.
