Douglas Otto Obituary

Douglas Lynn Otto died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Central Health Care in Le Center. A graveside service for Doug will be held in the spring at Woodland Hills Indoor Mausoleum. Online condolences may be left at woodlhillsfh.com.

Doug was born February 25, 1947 in Windom to Rolf Werner and Ilah Elsie (Kelly) Otto. He went to Mankato High School and MSU. He was in the National Guard and the Army Reserve

He is survived by brother, Rick (Marie) Otto of Mankato and their children, daughter Molly Otto of Mankato and son Wesley Otto of Mankato; sister in laws, Patricia Otto & Barb Walania: nieces and nephews, Darrin (Cheryl) Otto of Madison Lake, Travis (Peggy) Otto of Dexter MI, Gary Jr (Ronda) Otto of Shakopee, Kevin Goettle, Matthew Otto of Mankato, Kimmy Otto, Jill (Brian) Lacek of Milbank SD; step nephew, Jamie Danberry of North Mankato and special friend Derek Viera, who was like a son to Doug. The family would like to thank Derek for all of his help throughout the years.

Preceded into death by his parents and brothers Gary and Bradly.
