Elaine Edwards

Elaine A. Edwards, 86, died Saturday January 1, 2022 at the Mapleton Community Home.  Funeral services will be held   10am Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.  Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Mapleton. 

Elaine was born March 2, 1935 to Herbert and Aurelia (Fenger) Fennern in Springfield, MN.  She graduated from Springfield High School.  Elaine was united in marriage on May 30th 1954 to Derald Edwards in New Ulm.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. 

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Bradley) Bruegger of Wells and Cindy (Dave) Reimers of Mankato; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great step-grandchildren

Elaine is preceded in death by son, Randy; husband; parents; brother; and sister.
