Eleanor was born January 19, 1942 in Corning, NY to Carlton and Dorothy (Lebbarron) Matteson. She spent her career working as a nurse. In her free time Eleanor enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by sons, Shawn Matteson and Robert Rutter; sister Connie; and grandchildren, Kyle Rutter, Kelsey Horton, and Brittany Rutter.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Rutter; parents; brother, Ronnie Matteson; and sister, Leonor.
