Gary Marti. 87, North Mankato, died Saturday May 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11am Friday May 23, 2025 at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at Woodland Hills. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
Gary was born April 20, 1938 to Raymond and Myrtle (Peterson) Marti in Mankato. He served in the United States Army twice, being recalled for the Berlin crisis. Gary was united in marriage to Deanne Schultz on April 11, 1959. He worked as an Electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 343 Electricians Union. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, going out to eat, and seeing his grandkids.
He is survived by sons; Richard (Jonie) of Mapleton; Keith of Shakopee; and Michael (Tamera) of Wells; daughter in-law, Lori Marti of Rosemont; grandchildren; Christine, Courtney, Alexandria, Erie, Madison, Macayla, and McKenzie; nine great grandchildren; brother, Curtis Marti of Navarre, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Deanne; son, Steven; and his parents; siblings: and special friend, Gloria Stevens.
