Jack Jo Harmon was born June 20th, 1955. He was the third of eight children born to Harold “Bud” Harmon and Phyllis Davis Harmon of Cleveland, MN.
Jack worked driving truck and was partner in a fencing company but his real love was anything that got him out in the woods. Whether digging ginseng, fishing or hunting morels and wildlife, Jack was an avid outdoorsman who was happiest out in nature with his dog, Nemo, by his side.
Tales of Jack’s pool shooting and baseball days are legendary. His mischievous sense of humor charmed anyone that met him.
Jack’s daughter, Cassidy Harmon, who was his pride and joy, was the result of a twenty-year union with Kris Fultz. Jack bragged about his grandson Kaian Harmon to anyone that would listen and enjoyed cheering him on at basketball games.
Jack is survived by his daughter Cassidy, grandson Kaian, his son from a previous relationship Eric, his seven siblings (Joyce, Jim, John, Judy, Jan, Jay and Jeri), numerous nieces and nephews, close friend Eileen and most especially his friends that became family Traci and Kevin Mertins.
Jack is also survived by a host of family and close friends who brought him smiles and laughter over the years and comfort by sharing stories during visits in the recent days and weeks.
Jack was larger than life. The space left behind by his passing will be filled with stories, laughter and love. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
