James W. Enz

  James "Jim" Enz age 84 of Eagle Lake, MN passed away peacefully on Friday September 22, 2023. He was born on August 21, 1939 in Mankato to Emil and Leona (Stubblefeldt) Enz. He was united in marriage with Barbara Zuehlke on August 6, 1961 at St Paul's Lutheran Church in North Mankato MN.

He graduated from Mankato High in 1957. Served 6 years in the national guard. He worked for Dairy Fresh, Clean Towel, Hubbard Milling and Cargill before retiring in June of 2001. After retirement he worked part-time for American Greetings, Greenview Inc and Drummer Cleaning.

  He enjoyed watching all of the MN sports teams, playing bingo, going out for breakfast on Saturday mornings, going to casinos and spending time with his family.

Jim is lovingly survived by daughters Tina Marie Mankato MN, Tracy Enz Eagle Lake MN son Todd (Mary) Enz Good Thunder MN. Grandchildren Danielle Wolff Eugene OR, Stephanie (Tyler Arndt) Wolff Mankato MN, Trey (Stephanie) Dyslin Frost MN, Dawson Enz Mankato MN, Dylan Enz Good Thunder MN. Great Grandchildren Alister Arndt Mankato MN, Justis Blackdeer Frost MN, Jasper Wolff Eugene OR, Colt Dyslin Frost MN. Brother-in-law David Wick Winona MN and Sister-in-law Phyllis "Chub" Enz North Mankato MN, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

  He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2013, his parents, siblings and in-laws.

  The family would like to thank the Mayo Hospice team for their excellent care of Dad during his final days. We really appreciated all the support that the staff gave us kids and grandkids.

  Memorial service will be held on Thursday October 5, 2023 at 11am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Eagle Lake MN visitation will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Eagle Lake MN and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday. Internment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park Mankato.
