James Laird

James Lynn Laird, 62, Mankato, died March 27, 2025 at his home.  A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held from 1-4pm Saturday April 26, 2025 at the Circle Inn Bar in North Mankato.  woodlandhillsfh.com

Jim was born November 4, 1963 in Mankato to James and Patricia (Fordham) Laird.  He was united in marriage to Barb JoAnn Landwer on April 4, 1997 in Mankato.  Jim worked as a arborist.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, nature, and family time.

He is survived by Barb Laird; Chad (Glenna) Landwer and Arron (Brittany) Smith; daughter, Elena Smith; grandchildren, Lutrelle, Stevie, Colten, Ayla, Jayden, Ashlynn, Avery, and Carson; three expected great grandchildren that he was excited about; nieces and nephews, Cassie, Molly, Jamie Jo, Marlie, and Jordin. 

Jim is preceded in death by his parents: and sister.
