James "Cowboy Jim" Bergstrom, 68, of Eagle Lake, MN, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at home after a long and courageous battle with emphysema and COPD.

Jim was born on December 25, 1955 to John and Maxine (Finn) Bergstrom in Waterloo, IA. He later relocated to Minnesota and worked at Crysteel. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for music and began performing as "Cowboy Jim", singing at various nursing homes and assisted living facilities. He became well known as Cowboy Jim as he traveled extensively for his performances that were located throughout a five state area. He loved entertaining people of all ages by singing country music while playing guitar and wearing a cowboy hat.
He continued to live life to the fullest up until the very end, spending countless hours riding motorcycle and trike, playing golf, bowling, and fishing.
Cowboy Jim will be missed by his loving wife of 25 years, Patsy, their cat, Google, and all of his family and friends that will continue to cherish his memory.
