Jeff Ward

Jeff Ward, age 66, of Mankato, died on Monday, August 14, 2023, unexpectedly.
Jeff was born on November 22, 1956, in Mankato, MN to Dorothy Mae (Mettler) Ward and Ronald Ward. Jeff served in the US Army for 3 years and retired from MNDOT in 2019. Jeff loved playing his guitar and playing Pfeffer with his family and friends whenever possible. He loved watching the Minnesota Vikings with his best buddies every Sunday. He also enjoyed fishing, deep frying the fish he caught and sharing this “delicacies” with family and friends. Jeff easily made us all laugh wherever we were, and everyone enjoyed his great humor and friendliness. Jeff is survived by his mother, Dorothy Mae Ward; two brothers Edward Ward, Ted Ward both of Mankato, two sisters Cindy (Del) Stunes, Mitchell, S.D., Teresa (Mike) Bohl, East Troy, WI. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, great nieces, and nephews as well as loving Aunts and Uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott in 2012; and a very dear close friend of the family Betsy Potz in 2017. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato there will be a time to share your favorite memories of Jeff during the services. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service. The Burial will be private.
