My brother Jeff aka Bodean "caught the Westbound" as his fellow friends and riders would say. His unconventional approach to life was riding trains. May you find peace and rest as you travel the rails to heaven. love you, your little sister Moon.

August 4, 1962 - January 5, 2023

Jeff “Bodean” Hardie 60, passed away January 5, 2023 unexpectedly.  A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held from 11am-2pm Saturday July 15 at Spring Lake Park Pavilion #5 in North Mankato.  

He worked as a truck driver and welder by trade but his true passion was riding the trains.  Jeff was a free spirt who loved, hiking, fishing, motorcycles, camping, art, and creating new ways to make every day items.

Jeff is survived by sons Chad Hardie and Shawn Pitt; sisters, Terri Hardie of Wimberly, TX, Johnay Earle of Ft Dodge, IA, Moninne Hardie (Mary Ehleringer) of North Mankato; niece and nephews, Joy (Eric) Locker, Benjamin Perry, Travis Earle, and John Daxton; and great nieces and nephew, Eva, Maiya, and Noah Shoultz

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ryan Woehlwend – Hardie; and nephew, Eric Lee Green. 

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
