Jeff was born on February 14, 1962 in Mankato, Minnesota to Ken and Shirley (Schons) Wild. Throughout Jeff’s school years he was an avid wrestler, Jeff had the quickest pin at 9 seconds, it might still be the record. Jeff graduated from Mankato West in 1980. He joined the Marines right after graduation. After an honorable discharge, Jeff began working building greenhouses and carpentry. In 1996 Jeff started working at Jones Metal Products, and during his time there he had worked in all areas of operation. He met his wife in 1995 at BW3’s in downtown Mankato. Jeff and Wendy welcomed their son William T. in 1997, and Jeff and Wendy were married on May 30, 1998. He had a big heart and was always helping others without expecting anything in return, and volunteered for many silent auctions and fund raiser rides. Jeff loved riding his motorcycle and playing the harmonica. He was also proud at being sober for 2 years, 2 months, and also opened our home to help those who had no place to go.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy; stepchildren, James Helm, Leon Murray; brother, Larry (Ellen) Wild; sisters, Peggy Wild, Kathy (Jim) Blaseck; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his dog, Waylon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Shirley Wild; son, William T. Wild.
