Jody Lieske

Jody Roger Lieske, age 61, went to his eternal home on Saturday, December 28th 2024.  A memorial service will be held January 8th at 1:00 pm at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Mankato.  Fellowship with the family will follow the service in the narthex.
Jody was born September 29, 1963 to Wilbur and Jacie Lieske in Mankato, MN. Jody worked for various printing firms throughout the years. Jody had a passion for sports and was an avid sports fan from a young age, with basketball being his favorite. He was a season ticket holder for the Minnesota Timberwolves for several years beginning with the inaugural  season of 1989. Jody enjoyed taking family and friends to attend games  with. He ensured his extended family had memorabilia to support his  team.  He was also a fixture on the sidelines of his many nieces’ and nephews’ sporting events. Jody also had a love of playing cards and  cribbage, especially at family gatherings
Jody is survived by his mother Jacie Lieske of Mankato, siblings Connie  (James) Kohn of Inver Grove Heights, Greg (Linnea) Lieske of Mankato,  Brian (Michele) Lieske of Minneapolis, and many nieces, nephews, aunts  and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Lieske.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Mt. Olive Lutheran School.
Private family interment will be at Woodland Hills Cemetery on a later date.
