John Edward Peittersen, age 82, of Kasota, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was born to Otto and Mary Peittersen.
John was married to LaDene Catherine Viskocil for 44 wonderful years. He is survived by his children: Sheri (Arden) Zenke of Rochester, Joe (Susan) Peittersen of Farmington, Lori (Chris) Wohnoutka of Lakeville, and Randy Peittersen of Savage; and by his beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Trichel, Kyle, Alexis, Jack, Grace, and Lydia. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, LaDene; and his brothers, Lyle Pearson, Ronald Pearson, George Peittersen, and Leon Peittersen.
John spent much of his time doing what he loved—cooking, fishing, and playing cards with family and friends. He adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with those he loved. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato, with Fr. Joe Fogal officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
