Judith “Judy” McGlogan (Naylon), age 82, was born on April 16, 1943, in Mankato, MN and passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026.
Judy was a trailblazer in her early years, proudly becoming one of the first women to work for telephone companies in the 1960s, a role that reflected her independence, determination, and strong work ethic. She later continued her career in communications, retiring in the early 2000s from the Communications Department at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, LA.
Following her retirement, Judy returned to her hometown of Mankato with her beloved husband, Michael McGlogan, who preceded her in death. She treasured time spent with family and was deeply loved by all who knew her. Judy was also known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor—she had a way of making people laugh, often when they needed it most, and brought lightness and joy to everyday moments.
Judy is survived by her brother, Thomas Naylon; her daughter, Erin McGlogan; her son, Darin McGlogan; and several other family members who loved her dearly and will cherish her memory.
A private burial service will be held for family where Judy will be remembered for her strength, warmth, her humor, and the love she shared with those around her. Arrangements by Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato. www.woodlandhillsfh.com
