Judy A. Lentz, 82, North Mankato died August 25, 2023 at Mapleton Community Home after a long battle with cancer. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. woodlandhillsfh.com
Judy was born May 25, 1941 in Madelia to Wesley and Leila (Ochs) Lentz. She attended Trade School for Cosmetology; however, she worked more in the field of interior decorating. Judy had a great eye for design and known for her attention to creative and detailed work. Even though Judy lived many places and loved her time calling Venice Beach, CA home, the changing seasons of Minnesota where Judy was born drew her home, she especially enjoyed the change from Summer to Fall.
Judy is survived by nieces and nephews, Lori Kay (Schmitz) Dick, Jennifer Lee (Kinghorn) Koenig, Theresa Lentz, Jeff Lentz and Laura Lentz.
She is preceded in death by brother, Charles Wesley Lentz; sister, Rosalie Leila (Lentz) Kinghorn (Marvin); niece, Lisa Ann Schmitz.
Judy had a bright spirit, so strong, quick wit, and a positive attitude. If you showed up at her door you were always welcome. If a few of us forgot “where we belong” she would help us find our way.
