Kathleen McMichael

Kathleen McMichael ,76, Eagle Lake died Monday, March 27, 2023 at her home.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5pm Monday, April 17, 2023 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home, wear red in memory of Kathy, followed by a graveside service at 5pm at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.  woodlandhillsfh.com

Kathleen was born October 30, 1946 to Joseph and Katherine (Garaghty) Schabert in St. Peter.   Kathleen was united in marriage to Kenneth Walter McMichael on May 14, 1966 in Mankato.  She ran home daycare for 18 years and then worked at Atlantis Plastics for 15 years until retirement.  Kathy enjoyed putting together puzzles, playing cards and games, and spending time with family and friends. 

Kathleen is survived by sons, Steve (Jolene) McMichael of Mankato and Tim (Melanie) McMichael of Detroit Lakes; daughters, Kris (Loveeta) McAldridge of Mankato and Teresa ( John) Spears of Lake Mills, IA; grandchildren, Aaron, Caryssa, Kaylee, Shauna, Raymond, Rain, Trevor, Timmy, and Gracee; great grandchildren, Ax and Ivy; brother, ; Joe Schabert of Mankato, Bob Schabert of Courtland, and Tom Schabert of Mankato;  sisters, Pat Gaines of Wells and Geri McMichael of Eagle Lake; and nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her husband; Ken McMichael; parents, Ben and Kitty Schabert; sister, Diane Seitz; and brothers, Larry and Mike Schabert.
