Kim Mettler

Kim Mettler 68, Mankato, died Monday January 29, 2024 at the Harry Meyering Center.  Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services.  Interment will be at Woodland Hills Outdoor Mausoleum. 

Kim was born April 21, 1955 to Leonard and Elaine (Dorn) Mettler in Mankato.  He worked for many years at MRCI, Carlson Craft, and the food court at the mall.  Kim loved to go out to eat, especially to Pizza Ranch.  He enjoyed watching Monday night wrestling and episodes of Bandwagon that featured him and his parents.  Kim also liked to draw, color, and ride his bike.  He was a social butterfly and loved to visit with people and to hug, Kim had the best smile. 

Kim is survived by siblings, Fay (Jeff) Butson of Vernon Center, Dawn Baumberger of Mankato, Gwen (Tim) Ruch of Mankato, Lyn Storlie of Mankato, Lola (Mark) McDermott of Owatonna, Todd (Barb) of North Mankato, and Van (Lori) of Mankato; 22 nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and counting; great great nieces and nephews and counting; uncle and aunts, Ray, Rosie, and Dorothy; and many cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne and Dean; infant brother, Anthony; great nephew, Jackson; brother in – law, Fred Baumberger and Larry Storlie, and sister in-law Julie
