Lois Zuehlke, 85 departed this world on March 23, 2024 at Laurels Peak in Mankato, MN.
Lois was born in Guckeen, MN on June 28, 1938 to Howard and Minnie Schreiber. She graduated from Winebago High School.
Lois's life was anchored to her family. She shared a deep and abiding love for her husband Marvin Zuehlke from 1956 to 2009. Their union brought forth 3 children: Ken, Pam & Todd. Family life was picnics, hiking, camp fires and trips to the cabin.
As a passionate gardener, Lois found peace and contentment in her home gardens. Other joys included getting lost in a good novel or crossword puzzle and cooking for everyone.
Lois was spirited and loved to make people laugh! Her kindness and devotion to her family will be forever cherished.
As we celebrate her life we carry with us Lois's love for humor, pranks and always staying a kid at heart. Her ability to make people laugh lives on in the lives she touched, a beacon of her warmth, love and kindness.
Lois was survived by sons, Ken (Ellen) Zuehlke of Loveland, CO and Todd (Darla) Zuehlke of International Falls, MN; daughter, Pam Mayfield of Eagle Lake, MN: grandchildren Geoffrey & Ethan, Jesse, Johnathon & Jada: Great-granchildren, Jayden, Alainah, Caprice and Vincent: many nieces and nephews.
