Lucinda “Cindy” A. Ringgenberg, age 71 of North Mankato, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato.
A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 1 P.M. at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato, with Pastor Jay Dahlvang officiating. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting the family with arrangements. www.woodlandhillsfh.com
Lucinda was born June 7, 1951, in Jefferson, IA to J. Tracy and Phyllis (Randall) Massee. She was the oldest of 4 girls. She graduated from Sioux Rapids High School in 1969 and went to Iowa Lake Community College and graduated with a degree in Secretary. She moved to Mankato MN and went to Minnesota State and South Central to further her education.
After moving to Mankato MN, while working at Gold Finds (retail store), where she meets her husband of 47 years. Jon and Cindy Ringgenberg were married on October 4, 1975, and lived in North Mankato MN until she passed away. She worked for Nicollet County as a Secretary until 1987, when she left work to raise her family. She worked at Corporate Graphics and Young America before retiring. Cindy spent her time with family and friends. She loved to bake, read and crocheting. She also loved spending time bowling, meeting friends for lunch, and going to her Tops’ group. She was on church board and teach church school. She would also spend a lot of time on the phone talking to her mother and sisters.
Cindy leaves behind her husband Jon, and three children Cara, Tanya, and Joe. Also, her two sisters, Jane (Kevin) Massee and Karen (Dwaine) Company. Also, a lot of family and friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Sue, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
